Travels

I've never really been much of a country counter. I guess the map says i've been to 100 countries. But the number increases with each passing moment as i am eternally "on the road".
Back in the day, it all started when i left Canada and moved to Mexico. I lived there for a year before exploring the rest of Central America. From then on i was hooked and haven't looked back.
I made a few hops across the pond to Western Europe. Some extended stays, some visits. Much of these travels were as member of a theatre company.
After a while in Canada, i headed to Australia and New Zealand on WHV. Then through South-East Asia to China where i worked for a while. I spent another year+ living and travelling the former Soviet block before moving to the Balkans. After that, Turkey. The whole thing took me about 5 years before going back to Canada for a visit.
After leaving Canada again, i spent some time in Spain, before travelling through Mediterranean Europe, the Middle East and Northern Africa. My next job landed me in Japan. Travels continued through the Indian Subcontinent and back to South-East Asia, where i spent some time in Cambodia. After that, more South-East Asia travels to China. Kyrgyzstan was my next position. Central Asia, the Caucasus, Mediterranean Europe, Northern Africa and the Nordics all followed before a visit to Canada for the Olympics. Overall taking another 5 years.

My current wandering started in Mexico, through Central America somehow ending up in Yemen. But after a ridiculous forced evacuation from my project there, i now find myself in Iraq.
